About Us

The Filipino American Golfers Association, Inc., commonly known as FilAm Golfers, was established as a non-profit entity on October, 1999 with the purpose of promoting golf as a serious pastime among Filipinos and Americans alike in the East Coast USA and to foster among members a closer bond and fraternity for their joint and mutual benefit. One of the objectives of the club is to conserve the best interest and true spirit of the game of golf embodied in its ancient and honorable tradition.

Members of the organization enjoy the benefits of a uniform system of handicapping as set forth in the USGA Handicap System and friendly competitions in form of club tournaments held in various golf courses within the tri-state region of NY, NJ and Connecticut. The organization encourages its members to conform to the USGA Rules of Golf through its authoritative body that govern and conduct club competitions.

FilAm Golfers is a member club of the United States Golf Association (USGA).
