Samantha Lopez-Edwards Wins FAGA Open; Ross Ola Takes Seniors

Inspite of penalizing herself one stroke when she accidentally moved her ball before putting, Samantha Lopez wins the FAGA Open by a single stroke over Nilo Pascual with a net 65 at Beaver Brook.

Lopez also took care of business in the second round of match play by beating Dr. Sam Bangug - 6 and 5.

Ross Ola took the Senior Open honors shooting a net 65 with a lot of room spare beating his closest rivals by 4 strokes.

FAGA OPEN RESULTS

Quarterfinals of the Match Play championships pits Lopez against Joel Torrecampo; George Javier, who won by default over Robert Carido against top seed Jeff Labrador; hotshot Dr. Bong Lerias against Jojo Tan; and Prez Nick Salubayba against last minute alternate Joey Bote, who beat 2007 Match Play Champion Willy Libid.
