Winning the Player of the Year (POY) award is becoming a habit for Joe Barreno, who also won the most coveted plum in 2003. As the undisputed King of the Fairways this past season, Barreno never relinquished his number one spot since blowing away the field at Shirley. It has been a catch-me-if-you-can affair from then on taunting the likes of Rey Protacio, George Javier, Boyet Napiza, Willy Libid and Andy "Dr. Z" Zapata. Nobody even came close to challenging his majesty the King.

I am proud to announce that the Board of Directors have negotiated and completed our 2008 tournament schedule. In addition, we have also reserved and booked the venue for our 2008 Awards Night dinner.
